Death Tree

I decided to try to combine a really cool looking tree with...a severed deer head.
And then this kind of evolved into a surreal dark looking death scene. It just took on a life of its own. I added grave stones, I attached the deer's leg to a branch, and I used a different deer's rib cage.
Then I decided to add a cob web between the tree branches and an eye. And then some clouds. It ended up really dark.
I hope people can see the deer head...that was supposed to be the focal point...but again this thing just decided to take a life on it's own...
Anyway I'm experimenting with more traditional mediums. The cat, clock, fruit contest kind of inspired me to do more surrealist type works with good ol' fashioned pencil and paper. And I gotta admit, this looks a lot clearer on the computer. XD
